Can’t make it to the game on Nov. 23? You can still do your part to help this worthwhile cause. Stop by your local D.C. area Volkswagen dealer between Nov. 7 and 22 to help fill a Passat with canned food. Go to www.vwdealer.com to find your closest Volkswagen location and its hours of operation. You can also donate in the main lobby at Kettler Capitals Iceplex between Nov. 7 and 22. You may drop off items at Kettler Capitals Iceplex any day of the week between 10 a.m. and 9 p.m.

All donations benefit the Capital Area Food Bank, the largest public nonprofit food and nutrition education resource in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area. Last year the Capital Area Food Bank distributed 30 million pounds of food, including 10.8 million pounds of fresh produce, to more than 478,000,000 people through a network of more than 700 nonprofit partners.
