Wednesday, September 19 was LHP Gio Gonzalez’s birthday. Gio quickly became a fan favorite when joining the Washington Nationals this season and fans showed him lots of love last night for his birthday.
Several fans held up signs, a few brought cupcakes and cake by the dugout for Gio and many fans sang “Happy Birthday” to him. Here are a few of the signs I was able to capture.
