Washington Nationals Host Back-to-School Drive to Benefit D.C. Public Schools
WHAT: The Washington Nationals will host this year’s Back-to-School Drive on Sunday, August 19 when they take on the New York Mets. Fans may donate new school supplies at the Center Field Gate from the time gates open through the end of the second inning.
Requested supplies include but are not limited to:
- Backpacks – Lunchboxes
- Calculators – Paper
- School notebooks – Pencils
- Crayons – Pocket folders
- Glue sticks – Rulers
- Loose leaf binders – Pencil boxesDonated items collected at Nationals Park will benefit students in District of Columbia Public Schools.
