SYRACUSE CHIEFS TO PLAY 13-GAME SPRING TRAINING SCHEDULE
Team will take on Toledo, Gwinnett, and Oklahoma City starting March 15Syracuse, NY—The Syracuse Chiefs, Triple-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals, will play a 13-game spring training schedule in preparation for the 2012 regular season.
The Chiefs will take on the Toledo Mud Hens (Detroit Tigers) three times, Oklahoma City RedHawks (Houston Astros) five times, and Gwinnett Braves (Atlanta Braves) five times. Syracuse home games will be played at the Washington Nationals complex in Viera, FL.
The complete schedule is as follows (all games begin at 1:00pm):

March 18 vs. Toledo Viera, FL
March 19 at Gwinnett Lake Buena Vista, FL
March 20 vs. Gwinnett Viera, FL

March 24 vs. Oklahoma City Viera, FL
March 25 at Gwinnett Lake Buena Vista, FL
March 27 vs. Gwinnett Viera, FL
March 28 vs. Toledo Viera, FL
March 30 at Oklahoma City Kissimmee, FL
March 31 at Gwinnett Lake Buena Vista, FLNew manager Tony Beasley’s Chiefs team will take the field for the first time in the regular season on Thursday, April 5 at Alliance Bank Stadium against the Rochester Red Wings. Tickets for Opening Day can be purchased online at SyracuseChiefs.com or by calling 315-474-7833 beginning at 10:00am on Monday, March 5. The ticket office will open for walk-up sales for Opening Day on Saturday, March 17 at 10:00am.
Tickets for the remaining 81 International League games to be played at Alliance Bank Stadium during the 2012 season, including the 10 Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees “home” games, will go on sale Monday, March 26 at 10:00am. Full and partial season ticket plans are on sale now.
