Photos: Bryce Harper gets his All-Star jersey

Prior to the Washington Nationals game against the Colorado Rockies on Sunday, July 8, Nationals Bryce Harper was presented with his All-Star jersey for the 2012 All-Star game in Kansas City on Tuesday. Harper replaced Miami Marlins Giancarlo Stanton, who had knee surgery on Sunday.

Nationals Ian Desmond, Stephen Strasburg and Gio Gonzalez were presented with their 2012 All-Star jerseys before Friday’s game. It was announced on Saturday that Desmond withdrew himself from the mid-summer classic to rest for the second half. Desmond has been nursing an oblique strain for nearly a month.

Congratulations to the Nats All-Stars and best of luck in KC!
