Making Strides Night is August 25th at Pfitzner Stadium
Night Helps American Cancer Society’s Breast Cancer Walk(WOODBRIDGE, VA) – The Potomac Nationals are proud to announce that Saturday, August 25th will be Making Strides Cancer Walk Night at the Pfitz. Fans will be able to support the fight against Breast Cancer by coming to the park.
The special night to come out to the park is Saturday, August 25th with the Potomac Nationals facing the Frederick Keys at 6:35 PM. The American Cancer Society will have a Making Strikes Against Breast Cancer Walker on the National Mall this October. Through this portal, fans can purchase $8 Grandstand Tickets with $4 of each going to the Making Strikes Against Breast Cancer Walk.
Potomac Nationals players will be wearing pink in recognition of those who are in the fight against Breast Cancer. Making Strikes will get proceeds as well from tickets purchased the day of the game by fans who are wearing pink.
The organization will also have a table on the concourse with more information on the cause. There will be information at the table on how to sign up, merchandise for display as well as a 50/50 raffle during the game. Before the game, a pre-game speech will be made from a cancer survivor.
