PHOTOS: Washington Nationals Game 124, August 22

The Washington Nationals fell to the Atlanta Braves 5-1 on Wednesday, August 22, 2012, however, took the series. You can read the game re-cap here. The Nats have Thursday off before heading north to Philly.

The Atlanta Braves starter, Kris Medlen — himself a Tommy John survivor — shut down the Washington Nationals in the third of a three-game series, allowing the Braves to escape town with a 5-1 win, narrowing the Nats lead in the N.L. East to six games. [Read more…]

It was Washington Capitals and Washington Wizards Night at Nationals Park last night with Caps alum Rod Langway and Bullets alum Phil Chenier. Nats fan James Carville sat down with Clint for a brief interview on the field during pre-game festivites and  then threw out the ceremonial first pitch to Ross Detwiler. [Read more…]
