Washington Wizards Game 19 Review: Inconsistent season continues as Wall and Wiz down Heat

Despite a loss, the Washington Wizards were extremely fortunate in Sunday’s game against the Dallas Mavericks. After John Wall had to be carried off the court after bumping knees with Jeremy Evans, the All-Star point guard was able to deal with soreness — not structural damage — and start 24 hours later in South Beach.

Washington needed its floor general against the current Eastern Conference leaders against the veteran and talent-loaded Miami Heat. In a back-and-forth game, with Dwayne Wade leading the charge for Miami, the Wizards got terrific guard play and were victorious, 114-103, beating the top team in the East a week after doing the same to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
