FORMER NATS NEWS: Blue Jays Sign RHP Shawn Hill

RHP Shawn Hill was drafted by the Montreal Expos in 2000 and pitched for the Washington Nationals at RFK. Hill has had several surgeries, including three Tommy John surgeries, and has never given up his dream to pitch again.

Hill joined the York Revolution earlier this season and hasn’t given up a run in his last five starts (27 2/3 innings). Hill is 2-0, with a 2.43 ERA with 21Ks and 9 walks for York.

Toronto Blue Jays have signed Hill and he’ll start in triple-A. Hill previously pitched for Blue Jays in 2010.

District Sports Page wishes Shawn Hill the best in his career!
