The Washington Capitals recalled D Tomas Kundratek from AHL Hershey today in light of Jack Hillen injuring his right shoulder after a collision with Tampa Bay forward Vincent LeCavalier sent Hillen into the endboards awkwardly in Saturday night’s 6-3 loss to the Lightning. Kundratek spoke with the media after practice about his recall and second stint with the big club.

About that five game stint last year, Kundratek said, “It was great. A lot of experience. I know what I have to do right now.”
