Washington Nationals Prospect Anthony Rendon Reportedly Promoted to Harrisburg

Anthony Rendon batted third and played DH for the Potomac Nationals on Monday night going 2-for-4 with a run in his last game in Woodbridge. According to sources, Rendon has been promoted and heading to Double-A Harrisburg.

Rendon, 22, was the No. 6 overall pick in the 2011 draft. He missed most of the season rehabbing an ankle injury sustained very early in the season and only played eight games for Potomac Nationals.

Here are Anthony Rendon photos in a P-Nats uniform from Sunday when he was ejected in the fourth inning for arguing his called strikes.
